Guide two cute robots without arms skillfully through colorful levels full of obstacles.

Movies and video games have introduced us to a large variety of robots, with all sorts of cool functionality. Despite this the coop game “Biped” chooses a more minimalistic approach, as the two characters are only equipped with a bulky body and two legs. At least they wear glasses and look extremely charming.

The control scheme is the main challenge in “Biped”, because you control the legs of your robot individually with the two analog sticks—step by step. No additional buttons are needed. In about 30 levels, your goal is to reach the same destination with well-aimed steps and coordinated movements. Good communication is required.

If you are looking for a challenge, you can play “Biped” all by yourself by controlling both characters at the same time, using one hand for each of them. This requires a lot of skill and can be a lot of fun for viewers. However, even with two people, the game can be quite entertaining. If you need a nice little coop puzzle game for a relaxed evening on the couch, you should give “Biped” a try.

Why you should play it:

• Interesting concept and enough levels to provide a few hours of fun.
• The level design and the control scheme require some good communication skills.

Most couch co-op games require one gamepad per player (DualShock 4, DualSense, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller etc.), but sometimes you can share gamepads (PS5, XBOX Series X/S), use a single Joy Con (Switch) or let at least one person utilize a keyboard (PC). Please note: We can’t guarantee that your specific setup works with “Biped”.

Remote Play Together (Steam) and SharePlay (PSN) allow you to share local multiplayer games with friends over the internet. Only the host needs to own the game. Remote Play Together is free. SharePlay requires a paid PSN subscription and is limited to 60 minutes per session and a maximum of 2 players.
