Enter an unexplored world full of strange creatures, gather resources and craft items for survival.

“Don’t Starve Together” throws you and one additional friend inside a randomly generated world. Explore the region, cut down trees, craft a campfire and, well, don’t starve. If you manage to gather enough resources, you can build a formidable camp with cooking pots, farms and even a fridge. It’s not all fun and games, though. If you don’t have a light source near you, strange creatures will find and kill you at night.

The game includes all seasons of the year. Each of them is challenging for its own reason. For example, food is scarce in winter and you need to protect your character from the cold. No matter what season it is, you’re constantly on the move to collect food and resources, which can be little bit stressful at times. If you want a more relaxed experience, the game includes a lot of settings to customize your world and lower the difficulty.

“Don’t Starve Together” is a challenging survival game with an excellent art style and a lot of interesting places to explore. The combat system is a bit weird, which somestimes makes it hard to deal with randomily appearing boss monsters. However, “Don’t Starve Together” is one of the few good survival games with couch co-op support, and (as we all know) surviving in a harsh world is a lot better when you have a friend around.

Why you should play it:

• It is very satisfying when you finally manage to survive a full year!
• You can customize your world extensively, e.g. turn off certain enermies.
• Excellent art style and atmosphere.

Please note: “Don’t Starve Together” supports more than 2 players online, but only two people can play in splitscreen mode on the same console. A Steam version exists, but it does not include a splitscreen mode.

Most couch co-op games require one gamepad per player (DualShock 4, DualSense, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller etc.), but sometimes you can share gamepads (PS5, XBOX Series X/S), use a single Joy Con (Switch) or let at least one person utilize a keyboard (PC). Please note: We can’t guarantee that your specific setup works with “Don’t Starve Together”.

SharePlay (PSN) allows you to share local multiplayer games with friends over the internet. Only the host needs to own the game. SharePlay requires a paid PSN subscription and is limited to 60 minutes per session and a maximum of 2 players.
