Kingdom Two Crowns

Saddle your horse, explore the surrounding world and gradually build a kingdom.

In “Kingdom Two Crowns” you take on the role of a king who rides his horse through a linear 2D world. At the beginning you will find yourself next to a small campfire, but a modest village quickly grows out of it as you hire local settlers and assign them to certain tasks. Farmers generate income through agriculture, craftsmen construct buildings to secure your borders and archers defend the village from malicious creatures that attack in ever-increasing waves at night.

“Kingdom Two Crowns” does not rely on any menus at all. Everything is done by travelling around the world, collecting coins from villagers/buildings and reinvesting them elsewhere to expand your empire. The core mechanics and the control scheme (only 3 buttons) are introduced in a short tutorial. Afterwards, everything is up to you, and that is exactly what makes the game so appealing. It feels so rewarding to explore the world, look after your kingdom and find new ways to expand your settlements.

“Kingdom Two Crowns” is a fantastic mix of exploration, (micro) strategy and tower defence mechanics. The optional co-op mode is a perfect addition, because it makes important tasks like looking after your people much easier.

Most couch co-op games require one gamepad per player (DualShock 4, DualSense, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller etc.), but sometimes you can share gamepads (PS5, XBOX Series X/S), use a single Joy Con (Switch) or let at least one person utilize a keyboard (PC). Please note: We can’t guarantee that your specific setup works with “Kingdom Two Crowns”.

Remote Play Together (Steam) and SharePlay (PSN) allow you to share local multiplayer games with friends over the internet. Only the host needs to own the game. Remote Play Together is free. SharePlay requires a paid PSN subscription and is limited to 60 minutes per session and a maximum of 2 players.
