Save Your Nuts

Compete against squirrels, dogs and raccoons. Your goal is to collect nuts.

Playing “Save your Nuts” is a straightforward affair: First, you choose your character from a selection of friendly-looking animals. Then, the scramble for collecting nuts inside one of the available arenas begins. The game includes three different modes. “Capture The Nut” gives you 5 minutes to collect 5 nuts, in “Thieves” mode you have to steal nuts from the other team’s safehouse and in “Battle” mode you have to be the last one standing.

The modes aren’t too different. All of them essentially boil down to: Run around, fight your opponents and collect some stuff. When holding a nut, you slow down significantly. That means you have to rely on your friends to protect you in team modes. To make things more interesting, the game includes several power-ups like shields or speed boosts. Additionally, there are environmental hazards like rolling spike traps or hungry aligators.

“Save Your Nuts” is an enjoyable party game with charming aesthetics and some fun modes. Just don’t expect much tactical depth or elaborate mechanics. It’s a game for parents who want to play a few rounds with their children here and there.

Please note: The version for PlayStation only supports a maximum of 4 players.

Most couch co-op games require one gamepad per player (DualShock 4, DualSense, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller etc.), but sometimes you can share gamepads (PS5, XBOX Series X/S), use a single Joy Con (Switch) or let at least one person utilize a keyboard (PC). Please note: We can’t guarantee that your specific setup works with “Save Your Nuts”.

Remote Play Together (Steam) and SharePlay (PSN) allow you to share local multiplayer games with friends over the internet. Only the host needs to own the game. Remote Play Together is free. SharePlay requires a paid PSN subscription and is limited to 60 minutes per session and a maximum of 2 players.
