Cuphead

Jump, run and shoot at enemies in a hectic game that pays tribute to old cartoons from the 1930s.

“Cuphead” is the name of the protagonist in this game. He looks a lot like a well-known mouse from Disney, but with a cup on his head. In each level, you jump over obstacles and shoot enemies with your finger along the way. Sometimes you will encounter bosses, which are usually impossible to defeat on the first try.

“Cuphead” is a really difficult game, even with two players. You probably need to try most of the sections more than once. This can be frustrating, but it can also be an incentive. Since the attack patterns of all enemies are very predictable, you will get better with every attempt. If the game is still too hard for you, you can also adjust the difficulty of the boss fights.

You can’t talk about “Cuphead” without mentioning it’s incredible art style. This game genuinely looks like it was produced by a team of artists in the 1930s. It even includes an authentic, orchestral soundtrack. It’s impossible not to appreciate the look and feel of this game! “Cuphead” is a tough, but beautifully designed cartoon adventure.

Why you should play it:

• The whole game can be played alone or with a friend.
• The levels and especially the boss fights are really challenging, but at the same time extremely charming.
• You won’t find a graphic style and soundtrack like this in any other game.

Remote Play Together (Steam) and SharePlay (PSN) allow you to share local multiplayer games with friends over the internet. Only the host needs to own the game. Remote Play Together is free. SharePlay requires a paid PSN subscription and is limited to 60 minutes per session and a maximum of 2 players.
